Aura: The Redemption

You, the selfless protector who is responsible for my redemption

-
Lending your strong, gentle hands whenever needed
Even if the limits of your mind are exceeded
You wouldn't let anyone be truly defeated

Erasing the definition of: Victim
Handing over strength to the ones that are weakened
Holding onto those whose grips are slowly loosening

You know nothing of greed
It's never for your own benefit

Forever passing on the luxury of relief
And you never have anything left to resent

Your hope is boundless / Your love is timeless
Your sympathy is limitless / Your resolve is endless

You always try your best
Taking on every single burden

Letting no one experience the effects of neglect
The well-being of others is of the greatest importance

You alter fate and destiny
When someone is in their time of need
Creating another path that is towards their dreams

Restoring faith back into humanity
Marching on through the narrowness of society
Changing countless outlooks on this life infested by hypocrisy
-

You, the kindhearted protector who thrives on devotion
I, the helpless child who fell astray

I, the foolish child who is about to break

This poem is written for my project, titled - "The Other Side Of The Sky"
In volume nine: Living In The Light

Aura: The Revolution
Aura: The Revolution
I will never live up to any other expectations
I will only just reach the place in life that's destined
Never again will I be a victim of impossible outcomes
Never again will I allow my self-respect to be disgraced and overcome
-
I am a prisoner no more
Discrimination became the martyr
I had to put an end to this war
I will not be walked on like I had been before
The future of a fearless life is what I now strive for
The source of my resolve has been built into my core
I believe what's right / To live my life
I'll reach for the light / And shine so bright
There's no limit to the sky / This smile never felt so fine
I never thought it'd be mine / So I'll take it as a sign

Time heals all wounds
It may get dark but the sun will rise soon
Hearts will fall sick and spirits will feel blue
But after the storm our pride will become immune
Trials by fear seem hopeless to get through
But strength and belonging will always be a part of you

-
I rose
Aura: The Respark
Aura: The Respark
I, the sheltered child who started to tragically fall from your grace
Into the void of this sudden loneliness
Realizing I followed every single one of your steps
But yet, I failed to hold onto those uplifting moments
Now I feel as if maybe I had forced you to make every one of those promises
That   which   you   still   kept
So I don't want to sound dishonest, but out of us, you are the strongest
You   make   sure   to   protect
To you, everyone, and everything is dearest
None   left   to   neglect
But with all of that, you take on those heavy burdens
And   try   your   best
Calling out your name into the nothingness
Forgetting about the peace you bestowed upon me
I guess it's just too hard to be away from
(Soon To Be Revised) Aura: The Radiance
Aura: The Radiance
I wore this pain like a crown / I was so broken
I kept on falling down / I felt my soul shattering
I couldn't hear anything / listening to my own twisted thoughts
I was blinded from everything / witnessing my own tragic downfall
I stopped dreaming of better days / I ceased believing long ago
My countless nightmares wouldn't fade / I was left in this dark world alone

I guess this is how I really pictured my own end
I just want it to finally be over with, I won't resent death
To the end of this long, and lonely road
Dangling on my unfinished rope
Lift me up, lift me up, lift me up, and don't let me go!
Hold me high, hold me high, hold me high, and give me hope!
-
Revive the light
Inside the dark
Given a second life
Resurrecting my heart
Cascade of colors
Fade away the gray
Open up a new world
Where shame has no place
Standing up to society's face's
Takes every ounce of courage
Never damaged or discriminated against
Because we're all going throug

It is beautiful, thoughtful and selfless, VERY GOOD work. Be proud and continue your journey into writing and poetry. It takes the writer in depth and the listener to a whole different world, one where there is plenty of thoughts in the mind. I truly loved it! Congratulations and please keep writing, express yourself and what you feel is important in your life and those around you, especially those of whom you love and adore. Much Luck
"You, the kindhearted protector who thrives on devotion"
It doesn't get any better than that. I used to tell my young son, "don't just reach for the stars, touch one", and he did! You are going in the same direction.
What A pleasure this was, Much Luck throughout your years.

I was suffering from a mental break down then I read this poem. It cheered me up and made me hopeful again. You typed this just when I needed it the most. :)

This is why I do what I still do. It's to reach out to at least one person when needed. I'm so glad this was able to help you out even a tiny bit. Thank you so much. And I sincerely hope you are doing much better. Get a lot of rest because it rebuilds the walls in your head.
