In The Snowfall

I remember it
As if it was just last night
Our surroundings were lit
Illuminated by the surfaces covered in white

The way you smiled
It gave me comfort inside
And my heart seemed to be veiled
Knowing you have become a part of my life

_{I stopped blinking}
_{As we tread}
_{I ceased breathing}
_{Chills were sent}
_{Our hands touching}
_{Our lips met}

_{Gazing at you is a must}
_{You curiously peered up}
_{As snowflakes danced down towards us}
_{And it dawned on me that I was madly in love}

_{Mesmerizing my soul}
_{Spreading a calming warmth}
_{Into my core}
_{I held you in my arms}
_{I felt whole}
_{Connected our hearts}
_{Alone no more}

Within my eyes
I captured those images
To remember for the rest of our lives
Just to relive something so passionate

It was the perfect setting
I was lost in awe
A memory so desiring
This was our walk in the snowfall
